Hi

I am getting ready to do my stove install. I am starting with double wall, any tips on putting a damper into the pipe. I am working with Metal Fab.

Thanks Dave

I'm not sure about metafab, but often the mfg. makes a 6" damper piece for this part. I looked at their catalog but didn't see this option in their double wall pipe.

Just curious if you know you need one or think you need one. What kind of setup do you have...

I will be installing a Hearthstone Mansfield. It seems from following the forum that this stove might benefit from slowing things down a little. also if I would ever get into a overfire condition I want to be able to shut it down.......
