I know that this is a rather random question, but could an Englander NC-30 owner post the width, height, and depth dimensions of the firebox as a reply to this post?

See . . . random. :)

I'm using the information for a comparison of a couple different stoves.

Thanks!

Mine is 20" wide, 13" high and useable 19.5" deep (22.5" to the glass)

BTW, Fixed Gear, what do you flly? I once had me a Cessna 150.

Hi, Nancy!

Ah, the 150. That's a great aircraft. If I had one, I would pop a Texas Tail Dragger kit, tundra tires, and VSTOL wing tips on it. I'll bet I could get it in and out of my 15 acre field. :)

I flew commercially, taught at WMU's College of Aviation, worked in the Flight Standards department at Cirrus Design, and then flew corporate for a bit before leaving the world of professional aviation for more family-friendly pastures. My username is a play on my flight experience and my love of bicycles - including fixed gear bicycles.

Edited to add: I realized that I didn't answer your question! I have time in everything from Cessna 150/152/172s to Cirrus SR22s, Extra 300Ls, Piper Senecas and Seminoles, and Beechcraft King Airs and Premier 1As. About half of my 5000 hours is in Cirrus SR20 and SR22s, though. If I had to pick my most familiar and comfortable aircraft, it would definitely be a Cirrus SR22 G2.

Wow, that's some log book! I only ever logged about 100 hours, and when my plane was due for a top overhaul, I didn't have the money for it, so I sold the plane.

I have a Cannondale mountain bike, but my dream bike as a kid was the big, heavy Schwinn (boy's version, not sissy girl's) that had the tank with a horn, shock absorbers, "luggage rack" and the perfect wide handlebars. Unfortunately, I never got one of them. Santa brought me a plain vanilla girl's bike, 24 inches, when I was in second grade. I rode it until and even after I got my first car.

Excellent thought, Fossil! I'll use that trick the next time I'm curious!

And, Nancy, the cost of aviation is exactly why I decided to have other people pay me to fly. Every time I look at buying a plane, I just can't convince myself to write the check. I would love something simple - a Cub, 150, or Champ - but just don't want to spend the money at the moment. Now, bicycles . . . that's another story and addiction!

Yep 20 x 19.5 x 13 (Thats to the Secondaries). So Id say roughly 11"-12" in hieght.

Loads both E/W or N/s with a 19" split. Do all my splits to 18"-19".
