looks like ash and maple, maybe sugar maple, nice stuff though.
 
Ash & maple. I would not turn down oak!

+1 and ++1 on not turning down the oak. Unless you don't have the room or patience to store the oak.
 
Hmm, some of those rounds look more like tuliptree than ash or maple. Maybe it's just the picture.

Yeah, the bark looks light grey but as you say, pics can be deceiving...

I see some norway maple in there in my humble opinion.
 
Here's my experience from splitting

The split wood had a sugar cane smell to it. Does Ash or Tulip have that? The round was very light compared to Oak & Honey Locust.


The maple had very light ( almost white wood color) - It also smelled very sweet. I'm guess sugar maple.
