I just bought 4 tons of Green Team pellets for $788 delivered from Lowes. They said delivery is about 3 weeks out. I still have a ton left over from last year so the 3 week wait is not a problem. I could have loaded onto my trailer and got them today but why bother when they will deliver for free. You do have to order at least 3 tons to get the free delivery with a 25 mile range.

Did you have them mark the specific pallets "SOLD" w/ your name on them? If not, and they get a new shipment of pellets between now and the delivery date, the big box stores have been known to just deliver what pellets are easiest to get to.

Their typical response as to why they do that is "all the pellets are the same anyway"

Buyer beware.

I have a note on my delivery to only bring me Green Team and if they bring anything else they will not be accepted.

I got that same response about all the pellets are the same anyway and I told them they were misinformed and need to be retrained or educated in what they are selling. I then had them put a not on my account stating Green Team only.

Hopefully, the delivery person will read it. Many times they do not....all they see is "5 tons of pellets" and your address. If it were me, I'd go there and make sure they are marked....saves the hassle of possibly having to return them later.

But hey, that's just me. :-S
