hi,
i was wondering what people use on the inside of the hopper to smooth the pellet ride to screw? not a good time for trial & error so i'm asking the pellet folks on their tricks. over the years i've done nothing but my new source of pellets seem dry and holding themselves back from falling.
tia,

I've used Nu Finish car wax. It works for a while antil lots of dust dulled it up.

On my previous stove, the Avalon Astoria, it had plain metal hopper sides, and I used spray Pledge furn. polish which worked well.

On my present stove, the hopper walls are painted, so I took a sanding block w/ 180 grit and a vacuum and smoothed the paint......seems to work OK.

What I did first was cover all cracks, joints and exposed screwheads with aluminum duct tape. I've used both silicon spray wiped inside well and now just use a handful of wax paper (sandwich wrap) and wipe down the inside of the hopper and have never had any problems.

thx for the replies, i will tryout each ideas in the near future.
