I just replaced an oil burner with a propane furnace as secondary heat. What's a clean way to cap off the oil burner chimney? It's got flu tiles sticking out the top. Does anyone make a nice clean rubber boot that could be clamped around the top? Thanks!

I am not an expert about unused chimneys, but I don't think you want to close it off completely air tight as moisture in the chimney cannot get out and will cause damage. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will jump in here.

I can see your point, but it's plugged at the bottom now. How much more moisture will be in there when it rains? If it's capped at the top I'll remove the plug at the bottom or at least poke a hole though it...
