Here is the timeline narrative . . . want stove, find hearth.com, catch up on years worth of stove theory, stove debate, realize that no brand of stove owner loves their stove more than the fiercely loyal Woodstock customers, order Woodstock Fireview, check out chimney, bad chimney chase, bad chimney liner, old roof, big roof slapping trees not going to damage new roof, firewood, rebuild top of brick chimney, replace roof, split and move firewood from yard, buck and split about 1/3 of massive white oak tree that fell in summer of 2008, stack about 3 cords of firewood total, winter sets in, wallet heals up . . . Figure out 16" tall corner hearth design with drawers, Demo and replace ancient lath and plaster walls with wonderboard, Frame hearth, install 3/4" plywood on hearth floor, 20 Gauge Sheet Steel, Wonderboard, Ceramic "wood looking" tile on floor, tile on walls, recruit 3 more gorillas to place Fireview on the Hearth on carpet pads, schedule Chimney Sweep to line chimney and install stove, submitt thourough insurance report with several pics, insurance agent happy, 1st break-in fire 9/28/11, 2nd break-in fire on 9/29/11, spend most of night rounding up pics to slap together collage of timeline, post new topic. Ready for real burn tomorrow night, weather in mid 40's. I'm a happy camper.
