I'm hoping folks here can steer me toward a good place to find some decent 3/8th chain at a fair price. The old tow chain is pretty tired, and I could use some around the house to hook up to the chainfall, pull stumps, etc. I'd be willing to try cable too, if the price is at all comparable.

Creek, if your near the coast, try some local commercial fisherman supply shops. They always have tons of rigging chain and cable and various other heavy duty items. You will be surprised at how much heavy duty gear they have. Good luck.

You'll even find some chain at Wally World.
