Well. I let out a teaser in another thread about what I was putting in my stove....

I got it in the mail today. Even better than I thought it would be. I have the woodstove pumping tonight, so no pics of it burning yet. Wamted top go as long as I could without the pellet stove (Just to see how long I could make it), but with this little Gem, I have to fire it up!!!!

Tomorrow it will be colder than tonight (Mid 30's). Plan on hooking it up then. I need to unplug the OAK and Flue, Put batteries in the remote and reciever, remove Damp Rid's, and fill with pellets.

The Wife loves the log set, but she does not clean the stove all the time (although she has from time to time, when I have been gone/out of town) I surprised her with this today... She loves it. And its a million times easier to clean around than the Logs...

Thanks to Czech... Fine product you have.. I got one of the last few you had, and am glad I did. Thanks again....

Yep I seen that today. My buddy was gonna buy 3 tons today and decided if he was buying pellets stored outside, that he was going to get Somersets from Farm and Home in Wellington. Its closer to us anyways. Plus I talked him into trading me 1 ton of Easy's for 1 ton of Somersets....

Im gonna try the pellets stored outside thing.... Worst come to worst. Is I dont use them. With the woodstove. I think I should use around 3 or less ton this year. So I have about 3 yrs worth of fuel (both pellets and wood).

When do you get the M-55 installed??? Do you live in "Eaton township"? Would make sense.

Looks great Dex, and if the wife is happy.........that's worth more than anything!

Got a call yesterday that the stove is in...Talked to Randy (The installer) and he is going to call back this evening to set up a time.
I do live in Eaton Township, When I played fantay football years ago, My team name was The Eaton Pussycats!! (little play on words)!

The pellets at C&C looked to be wrapped very well, So I probably wouldn't have a problem buying from them!

How much are the Somersets in Wellington??

Hey that looks good Dex, got to put up a pic when you fire it up!!

The Somersets are $220/ton. Me and my buddy went up and grabbed 2 ton today for him. After unloading the 1st ton and seeing how well they were wrapped (large bag covering ton like always, then a layer of plastic wrap, then a top cover bag, only covered thd top half, then another layer of plastic wrap) I put them down in a thread about there pellets being outside.

Get ready... Gasp... I traded a ton of my pellets (26 bags of Easy Heat, 14 Green labels, and 10 Presto Logs) for a ton of his Somersets. They have long been my favorite pellet for our area. He was going to get Easy Heats from C & C. But decided to go with Somersets for $10 more a ton.

It was raining the whole way home. Not a drop on a bag. Some pallets were wrapped better than others. We went through and picked the 2 that had the pellet bags located the lowest on the skid. Some of the pellet bags were visible on some skids (not good) So I just went against everything, getting pellets stored outside. We will see how they work out.

Cang wait for your install pics. Nice to know there is a fellow burner close by.

Well.... I couldn't wait anymore... I had to fire it up... For 2 reasons. After the deep clean in the Spring, I want to make sure its all good (No smoke, leaks, starts up, etc), and the #1 reason is to see the "Sunburst" Pellight that I got from Czech (BTW-Wife loves it!!! Thanks)

Here are a few pics, for your viewing pleasure. Taken just 10 min ago.

I do love my Quad. I honestly do. But I look forward to next season with a new multi-fueler also.... The next owner will be getting a great stove, thats been kept in great shape, that has a lot of parts that are sitting on the shelf. Ready for when something does break/stop working....

Thanks again.... Great guy, Great product......

Thanks Graham... Forum member Czech was selling off his left over inventory. I know Saves$ and I got one. Not sure how many he has left.

FYI for those in Ohio. There are Green Supreme's at the Lowes on Ridge Rd off of 480 (Brooklyn Oh) Never seen Green Surpreme's around our area. Grabbed up 10 bags just to try. 10 bags in the back of the 2011 Focus. Smells Good!!

Hoping we get a few different brands available this yr. Do I need anymore?? No... But do I want more?? Absolutely!!

Oink Oink! :) :cheese:

Yes Jay...A little bit of a Pig here.. Those Green Surpreme's smell really nice. Just threw a bag in the hopper. Gonna have a little fire tonight before bed. Giving the woodstove a little break, so I can clean the ashes out tonight.

Oink, Oink.... I bought a bunch of Pellets really early last season. I am gonna be Pi$$ed if we get a bunch of "New" brands at the Big Box stores. Been the same song and dance the last few yrs. May have to hook the Fahrenhiet up anyways, just so I can burn through them faster... LOL... ;-)

That does look pretty darn good if I say so myself Dex, thanks for the plug! ;-)
