Of course they are because us wood burners put a few particles in the air just like the big oil companies that pump millions of pollutants in the air and spill millions of gallons of oil in the oceans and kill all kinds of wildlife.
But we are the bad guys. Maybe the EPA should ban oil rigs and processing plants. Oh wait they are in the pockets of EXXON and the likes.

Don't worry a bit. The most efficient boiler manufacturers (Econoburn, Garn, BioMass, Eko, Tarm, etc.) are ignoring the EPA rating because the testing is bogus. Fact is these boilers exceed their standards but won't pay the bribe money to conform.
 
I hope the Wood Gun from AHS is in there.
