Today I stopped by Walmart in Biddeford Maine and they had pellets for sale. I have never seen pellets for sale at a Walmart. I believe they were like $194 per ton and I do not know what type of pellet they were offering.

I think walmart carries only penningtons natures heat. I bought a bag to try recently from there. Terrible. Maybe i got one of the bad batches.

Be sure to try a bag or two before you commit to a large purchase. Good luck.

My local Wallyworld here in NH has those as well, bought a couple bags to try out and put them through my p38. Had no problems, seemed comparable to most other big box store pellets for me.

My local wallyworld has had pellets since early 2000's. Started with bio heat and later went to Pennington's Natureheat. Prices were OK for a while, But lately they have been more than the other boxstores. Last season they were $6.00/bag while the boxstores(HD-Lowes) were less than $4.00/bag. No deal in my area!
