Trying to install the vent pipe for my Harman PF100. I am using Selkirk DT pipe from the horizontal termination to the clean-out Tee, then regular VP pipe down to my furnace. I ordered their standard VP pipe connector (part # 4vp-pc) to connect to the furnace exhaust collar but the collar is apparently thicker or oversized...either way, the connector does not fit. I ordered an adjustable connector but it is 2 weeks out...what part do you guys use for this connection?

Ok I have a 3" "thick" collar on my Harman, & use DT pipe. I didn't like the way any of the adapters fit. I tried all. Ended up using short piece of regular 3" VP pipe, stuffed extra gasket packing between inner and outer pipe, put sealer on the flange, installed it, used a screw to hold it, applied sealer around the outside. The inner pipe went inside the flange and the outer is outside. An adapter is what you're supposed to use but whatever.. I know what you are going thru I even called Selkirk. Maybe try a short piece of 4" VP pipe ....

my appliance adapter was a good bit larger then the 3" outlet.

is it the type with a screw clamp on it?

i had the same problem on my accentra. i wonder if harman uses some odball exhaust pipe size. i got it on the second time. the first one split apart. i got some emery cloth and went to work on the exhaust pipe and the i was able to get the second one on. it took alot of elbow grease, a wood block and a bfh. im stubborn like that though. sometimes i like a good fight.

@smoke show Yours looks like the adjustable one I have on order...2 weeks! And I bet I called a dozen places. I was so ready to fire her up this weekend :(

@smoke show Also noticed you have the clean-out cap on your Tee. How did it go replacing the factory cap...any issues? Did you use high-temp anti-seize or RTV to seal it? Just one screw to hold it in place? How about on the threads for the black pipe...anti-seize on those as well?

yep rtv to seal it up and a second screw, shouldn't have to come off I hope.

I haven't yet but plan on hi temp anti seize on the pipe threads.
