Have a jutol 8 woodstove-older model with the draft wheel in the front. Gave me over 25 years of service until the other day. Heard a loud "pop" in the rec room. Fire was on and I noticed a 1 inch gap on the left side of stove, where the side panel meets the front. Next day investigated the situation. Took the stove apart and and discovered the two nuts and bolts holding the side panel in place had snapped. Question is: How can I remove these 2 nuts and replace them with new nuts and bolts. They are seized up really good. Any help would be appreciated.

Something put that side under stress. It's important to determine why. Before reassembling look closely at the parts for warping, especially the inner liners. If they are warped and/or cracked, order replacements.
For the frozen bolts, soak with some oil or wd-40 to see if they will loosen. But don't worry if they are frozen and snap off. It's pretty easy to drill them out and tap in a replacement. Carefully drill out the stub of the bolt using a drill of the tapped thread size of the new bolt you will be replacing it with. The stove is put together with metric bolts, for example M6 x 16. If you can't get them locally you can substitute the nearest American bolt size. Get a good sharp drill bit plus the corresponding flat bottoming tap and be sure to use a little oil on the spot when drilling and tapping. It's pretty easy and will probably take you longer to get the parts than to do the actual job.

Thanks for the quick reply.I'll try your suggestions. I don't know the reason why they snapped. The inner liner on that side is ok. The liner on the right is
badly cracked and warped but the bolts seem ok. I tried to get a replacement liner but no dealers up here in Nova Scotia can help me. They said the stove
was way too old (27 years) and that Jutol only stock parts going back 10 year to the present. Plus, with the taxes,duty and freight, it would be a costly fix.
I'll probably get a new stove next spring when the stores have their annual sale.
