I am working on installing a wood stove in our 2 story home. We have all the parts to install a Class A chimney in a straight up through-the-roof installation. We have done the installation of the ceiling support box but need someone to cut the roof, install the flashing (which we have) and put up 12' of chimney pipe along with the 2 sets of bracing. Our roof is 12/12 so it's rather steep otherwise I might do it myself.

We're hoping to have it done this month because my we are expecting our first child in the beginning of November.

Summit as in, a user here? Ok.

The only problem here is that you wanted a professional install. I am sure he will do better than that.

He seems to be a guy with allot of passion for his job. Hope he can do it for you.
Cheers

That's an excellent problem to have. Here's hoping he can help me out. I did send him a PM.

Did you get install done?

I did! I had 4 Seasons do the install. $150 and it's all done and done safely. Plus the guy who did the install is a fireman for my town, giving him a bit more incentive to do it right :)

Congratulations and enjoy.

Actually, we dig putting fires out :coolsmirk:
Though it would be embarrassing if his chimney caused it.

I installed my chimney on Tuesday. Still need to hang some sheetrock and put down a hearth. I'll be doing break in fires outside, though.

I too am looking for help with an install of chimney pipe. I am going from my basement, out through the wall, up through the deck, then through the soffit and above the roof.

Do you have any recommendations on where to source all parts needed at a reasonable price online and shipped to my door?

All of the parts I bought online were through Amazon, but most of my stuff was bought in person at Home Depot.
