and I feel like a kid in a candy store. I was using a Radio Shack $9.99 surge protector but after all of the talk on the forum about this one I decided to buy it. Good price on Amazon and I like the look and feel of the unit. I figured it was best to go with an even better surge protector like this because I believe in "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."
Hey, it even matches my Harman! Only downside for me is it's made in China.

sounds like a good quality short extension cord could help w/ that.
i ended up with the isobar4 and it has a 6' cord.
now all i need is a pellet stove :)
10 more days till install.

There are a couple of other features that are nice on it as well.

- Isolated Filter bank: Keeps generated noise from feeding back into the circuit.
- Mounting hardware: Secures to the outlet and keeps the unit on the wall when plugging and unplugging various items.

Easy fix with a 6 or 8" extension between the wall the the surge protector.
