I called toro customer care to see if they could answer a couple of questions i have about my snowthrower. basically i have to bring it to a dealer then ask
So I need some help before I buy parts on Ebay.

I have a 2003 CCR2450 single stage. last season, i noticed that i mostly pushed the tool around when in fact it is suppose to be pulling me. the auger paddles have not even reached the wear indicator holes. should I be looking for something else other then replacing the paddles to be worn or need replacing? What else should I be checking . replaced the drive belt last year. The engine runs great and I had replaced the sparkplug with an E3, but i dont think that would have anything to do with that but who knows? Thanks Chris

I have same or similar model. Do you tip it forward when you want it to move? I guess I should check wear too, but it pulls like crazy if I tilt it.

When u tilt it does snow shot towards you from the bottom?

If it's doing that then check the platic scraper mounted to the bottom of the housing. They all spit a little in dry powder but it should be minimal. You should only have to tilt the unit slightly to get it to "power propel" itself.

These are the simplest, most reliable snowthrowers out there. You've addressed the belt, paddles, and scraper? Then so long as the engine is running well, your done.
