Got the wood splitting fever this year...

WOW, THEY LET YOU SCROUNGE ON THE POWER LINES DOWN THERE??????????Ooops, caps lock was on, sorry about that.

Its my buddy's property. 16 acres and the powerlines run through it. He can't really do much where there power lines are. He owns a tree and crane service and spreads his chips there.

Thanks for sharing. Looks Fantastic!!!

Wow I can't get over that stove install. Top lighted, set back ever so slightly. That is so cool.

That truck have the big straight 6 in it?

The Christmas shot was even better. Looked to be straight out of a brochure. It's an exceptionally nice install. Makes mine look like a wallflower.

Thanks! Yea the truck has a 300 six cyl in it. Picked it up for a $1000. Perfect for firewood with the dump bed. It's only a 1/2 ton so I have a set of air bags for the back.
Isn't it weird that we look forward to the cold so we can start burning?

Nice heat making stuff geardoc! And very nice job on the hearth install.

I hear nothing but good things about that engine. Grunty, long lived, smooth. I suppose the MPG could be better, but that goes for any truck.

One of the prettiest hearth/alcove installs . . . I like the accent lights . . . it does look like something from a brochure.

Yes, thats the most beutifle install I have ever seen. Very practicle also since you can fence it off to keep tottlers away from the stove. Congrats.

This is one of the reasons I don't let the Dragon Lady know about this site! If she saw that install she would be all over me like a fat kid on a cupcake! :)
