Just left Lowe's and bought 5 tons of Greene Teams for $152.15 a ton. How? The regular price is 179.00 a ton and I had a 10% movers coupon (which can be gotten on their website) and another 5% for using my Lowe's card!! Word to the wise. Some Lowe's will not combine offers as I learned but being persistent and asking for management should be the ticket to getting the 15% off. Good luck!

That is a great deal for sure.

I have not seen anything below $195 on sale in ages.

Back a few years we could get a very good price at the "PLANT".
I had to take the big truck (large class 8 dump truck) over and they would put 10 pallet loads in the back.

I had to buy 10 ton to get the "summer sell off "price

Enjoy the deal and the warm winter.

Nice, I didn't push for the extra 5% for opening a new CC account but still did pretty good myself, Greene Team at $3.58/bag plus got the 10% off on top of that. Which Lowes? I went to EB for 2 tons.

Snowy Rivers, do you run the hazelnut shells through your Whitfields? Where would I find them to try it out?

BTW, a few weeks back my local Lowes brought in a new shipment of Cheat River Pellets to add to their Greene Team stock and I purchased 5 bags of the Rivers to try out. I haven't been there in a while so don't know what the price is now and what they have left. I just recently fired up with a clean stove and a fresh bag of GT's and will see how they do compared to the Rivers and TC's. I probably only have less than 10lbs burned so far, a bag will probably last me a couple weeks with this weather.

Good work Drew, man after my own heart.

In these stores I've found that being persistent and just stating what you want them to do works much better than the "do you think you could" type stuff.

I've gotton good deals before, but never any bargains like those two. That's a big chunk of money saved.
I seldom am in the right place at the right time. I just bought a car. The salesman went on vacation after we closed our deal!

The Lowes near me had Pres - to pellets for 159 a ton regular price. I tried to use the mover coupon but they said since you already get discount for buying a ton that the computer would not take the coupon. It was worth a try. I did not press the issue. $159 a ton is still a good deal even if they are not the best brand pellets. My stove seems to do ok with them.
