According to my math, I'm getting my chimney cleaning brush to a point 19" above my stove top and there it sticks tight. No creosote in the chimney, less than 2 cups of the fuzz that accumulates. Do I have anything to be concerned about?

sounds like yer burning fine with all the more soot yer gettin, so as far as that goes you should be fine....but why does it stop at 19"?.....if it is stopping in the single wall section, one thing may be that you are hitting a section where two pieces are screwed together?....sometimes you gotta fudge the stiffer brushes past the screws...otherwise I can't understand why yer brush would be stopping.....

may be a dumb question but do you have a pipe damper ?

No, I do not have a pipe damper.

How far from the top are you? I ask because creosote is usually worse on the top where the air is colder.

Could be an obstruction of some kind perhaps?
Squirrel or other type of nest?
Or worse you have a structural problem with the chimney with the liner or brick broken, shifted etc?
I recently saw Harbor Freight had a pretty cheap (less than $100) inspection cam that I'm thinking of getting for chimney and other things that might help you out.
If not you probably should hire a professional to check it out as it could be dangerous.
good luck
