Finally found out the sweet spot for my regency insert. All I did was follow the tips you guys gave me on here. I was turning the damper down way too early and way to far almost closed. I have small blue flames on a 3/4 load the entire time and I am thinking that is a good thing. Blue flames means a fire that needs more oxygen but at the point where it will not go out. I think I got it! Whats do you guys think, blue flames are a good thing right?

Secondaries really don't fire for the whole time, they start and it lasts for awhile then the fire burns down to a small blue flame present and my burn times are anywhere from 8 to 10 hours not even with a full load of logs room temp hits 81 downstairs and 74 upstairs. I am using ash and oak which i cut and split in the spring but the trees were down since the winter. Maybe better seasoned wood will fire the secondaries better.
