My new Enviro Maxx-M glass keeps getting dirty after two hours. I have a magnehelic hooked
up & setting to the readings per factory. Checked the air pump with a remote cord & it works fine.
Is there anything else to check before I call the dealer? The air pump is wired to the control board,so it could be the control board. Thanks

Can you gives these guys some more info on "dirty"? The entire glass? Just the sides? Cant see the flame at all?

Mine doesn't get dirty that fast, at least all over. On mine, the edges start to get dark, sort of in a V pattern.

Come to think of it, I dropped in a bag of Hardwood Heats yesterday and the glass stayed much cleaner than it did with the Great Americans. What pellets are you using?

I dont think there is a stove out there that doesnt get dirty glass. I have the enviro m55 cast fs and the glass gets dirty on the right side kind of in a semi circle from bottom right to top left. Its not black but more of a grayish color. It seems that this stove does that according to other posts ive seen.
Pellet quality makes a difference also. is your glass completely covered or just a portion of it

In an 8-10 hour period the entire glass will be covered. I do not understand how the air pump puts the air curtain in front
of the glass. I am buring American Wood Fibers. I did swap & got Somersets from a friend. I will try them & see if any difference.

Hopefully some other enviro maxx owners will chime in. Then you can compair. Thats how I found out about my stove

my sisters cumberland will block out the glass in about eight hours. mine doesnt, go figure. im going to take the door off of mine and put on her to see what happens. the new to me harman accentra has only needed cleaned two times in six weeks, amazing. all the other stoves ive had needed cleaning about every third day or so.

I definitely notice a difference between the 2 brands I've burned so far this season. Maine's Choice gets the glass dirtier much faster than Greene Teams. Let us know if the Somersets make a difference one way or the other.

Dont know what air pump you are referring to. The glass has an air wash system. There should be no pump involved for the air wash. On any stove that I know of.

Can you post a pic? All stoves glass gets dirty. Some quicker than others. What color is the ash or soot?

Harmon & Enviro use air pumps to air wash the glass & they are usually wired to the control board.
Per the Mfg, the glass should be cleaned weekly. I just shut the stovedown about an hour ago & cleaned the glass.
I will post a picture later. Thanks for the info
