I got decent price locally on a new 2008 T-5 S#2159@@ ($1949.00 plus tax, free delivery to my place in the mountains)

Their invoice says it was delivered to them 9-20-2008.

Anyone have any issues with cracked firebox? I know there were some issues with PE inserts

Have to act fast deal for today only

thanks

I haven't heard any issues with the Alderleas cracking to date.

I have had no issues with my T5 going 3 seasons now. Only minor issue was the door hinges which were not properly tightened, particularly the top one and leading to runaway draft conditions. It is a pain in the rear to get to the hinges if they work loose, particularly the bottom one. I home they have addressed this issue. Once I figured out the problem, it only had to be fixed once.

I have a T5 with a mfr date of Jul. 07. No issues, except for the operator. :red: Installed in Mar. 08

Thanks for the info, it made the difference.

Dropped the hammer and got it. It was the free delivery up to my cabin in the mountains that helped too :)

Wish ya the best. That was our 2nd choice once we knew what size firebox we needed.

I bought my T-5 new this yr. for about the same price and it was an unused floor model manufactured April, 2007.. I paid another $450.00 to deliver and install it so you got a good deal.. So far I love this stove!

I was going to order online but the problem of picking it up in Denver and getting it to the mountains involved renting a Uhaul with a ramp which would have added about 250-300 dollars plus just muscling it into the cabin. The local dealer, has like most people out here, big trucks. Snow has melted from our big snow last week so should be good.

Crossed fingers lol

will post pics after installed finished
