That reminds me of the Halloween snow storm of '91 that we had in Minnesota. I think it was 28 inches starting the day of Halloween and lasting for two more days after. I was only 6 at the time but still remember going trick or treating with my snow suit on over my costume.

We got barely two inches that melted off
once the sun came out.

We had all of 4 trick or treaters, due to the foot of snow in NNJ.

Alot of bummed out kids.
 
That's a lot of snow for so early in the season.
