I have kind of an unusual setup, it's a Rinnai Hydronic heat exchanger AH-60 down flow forced air unit fed by a Rinnai R94SLi 199,000 BTU tankless hot water heater. I'm curious if anyone has seen one of these installs other than the one I have. I've run this AH-60 heater almost 2 years with great success. We have 3 bathrooms supplied by the tankless and never have had a shortage of hot water and the 60,000 BTU heat exchanger replaced a 100,000 BTU 20 year old down flow NG forced air heater that had seen better days..

Our winter NG bills are about half what they were. I did an identical install for my next door neighbor with a 100,000 BTU air handler and their total NG bills dropped similar to ours. Both installs replaced old tank type water heaters and older forced air furnaces so judge the lower NG bills accordingly.

The picture is the install in progress and wasn't quite finished, no proper support under the surge tank etc..
