What do you like most about your pellet Stove?

For me its the look!! and cleans very easy.
also burns all kinds of pellets on problem .

I grew up with a fireplace and the pellet stove brings back the flame effect along with clean economical heat. When the power is out we can run the pellet stoves on a UPS until I fire the generator up as they use very little power. We have 90+ percent natural gas forced air heaters but run our pellet stoves mostly. As far as cost to heat it's probably a toss-up between the two but for some reason we use the pellets most of the time..

I like that we can actually afford to be warm this winter (over our oil heat).
I like the flame & heat to get dressed in front of.

It saves me on oil.
No wood to tote in with bugs.

The looks. The efficiency. Using 4-5 ton ($1,000) instead of $4,000 a yr on LP. I think thats the biggest thing I like. The $3,000 in my pocket.

I like being able to keep my house
warm for less money than my alternative (oil).

Cheaper than Electricity ....
Lots cleaner than a wood stove(NO MESS)

That says it for me too. Plus I just love sitting and watching it burn on a cold winter evening.

Saves oil! and gives me something to do so that I stay out of trouble.

Much easier to to heat with and control than a wood stove. Cheaper than propane
wife and kids love it. Need I say more :)

I had an coal fired Alaska stoker stove for many years and liked it, but once you started it in fall it was on till spring!
Pellet stove is off many times all day in spring and fall saving alot of time and money.

It keeps me toasty warm and saves me bookoo $$ on propane!!

Like saving money and house is warmer at 72 rather than 65-68 with propane.

1st year using one, its the warm feeling you get when you walk in the door, steady heat. I have forced hot air furnace switch from LP to Oil, but it would run gets cold than turns back on, since the pellet stove install,The furnace has'nt been on. Steady Heat & Savings

Was a great deal, clean energy, low oil consumption, much safer than a wood stove, and very easy to heat the house.

Clean lines and european look without the price. Quiet operation and reliability (4th burning season and no issues whatsoever). Very easy to clean and maintain.

Really didn't want one, oil traders forced me into it. Now I stick it too the oil traders.

Love the look and flame of the wood pellet stove and getting off the oil/crack addiction. Besides, I like playing the pellet game all year. Trying different brands and seeing how much I can stock pile in my garage. Plus, I get to keep the house toasty warm and not worry about the oil gauge dropping like a rock.

Warmer house than with oil for less $$.
