Thats an Englander just like my stove but that stove looks beat and mistreated! Someone forgot to read the regular maintanence schedule!

They say 1/10 of soot build up causes 50% reduced heat transfer.
 
Dayyum what a mess. I guess Roger Wendell wasn't smart enough to
figure out how to clean his stove.

i tried not to brush out and vacuum the fire box today.
just couldn't help myself though.
pretty sure i'm going to be a once a dayer.
