As it should be!

Wish I had the means to be there.

Beautiful shot of Lone Peak there.

Killington is the the only 'Open' on the right coast.

Downtown Hunter . . . can't see the damage from Irene from up here . . .

Didn't hear that they opened up- I think that make a total of 5 ski area now open... still have to wait 20 more agonizing days until the ski areas start to open up up here...

Ah! Tis that time of year once more.

Love these pics . . . then again I loved the short vacation I spent in Montana.

Skiing, one of my favorites....Been out west a couple times....oh so nice but the best skiing within driving distance for me is Snowshoe! Love it there.

Looking forward to getting on the slopes again in a few weeks. Really excited for ski season!

Same here! Our 1st resort in the state just opened up today (Great Divide near Helena)... they're almost always the first to open up here, however, ironically, they are also recieve the least snowfall of any resort in the state...

Yeah, I'm about 1 1/2 hours from Snowshoe. It's a few minutes shorter to the Cannan Valley, but not much. About 1 hour to Wisp Maryland. I know that wind howls on top of Snowshoe Mountain. I do see a lot of skiers from NC there.
