Profile 20 Control Board Bad??

How can you tell if the control board needs to be replaced in a Profile 20? We just went to turn on the first time since last winter and the lights flash and a clicking noise. Nothing goes on.
 
Sounds like a bad control board indeed. I have encountered this a few times and a new control board will be needed. Did you leave it plugged in through the off season?
 
The "on" resistance in the momentary switch that is pressed, when you start the stove, may have changed during the summer ( oxydation, wear etc. ), so now there's not enough juice to energize the bypass relay. Forum member Coffeeman5 had a very similar issue with his neighbours Whitfield a couple of weeks ago. The remedy was quite simple. Please read about it here:

CJ-SR4ever, thank you for your help. Yes, the stove was plugged in the entire time. Will this cause problems?
Stovensen, thank you. I will follow the link you provided and read that information.
It's been cold and rainy all weekend. We should have turned it on and checked it out during summer.
