Any reason not to buy ceramic blanket insulation from ebay for 10 bucks instead of from a dealer for 40? Dealer stuff says rated for 3000' ebay stuff is 2300' not goona get that hot anyway is it?

You can try it. Not sure if it would void the warranty though.

Looks good to me. I'd hit it.
 
Fixin too. So my stove has a two piece baffle, both around 6''x24'' factory has insulation just on back baffle, why not put on both?
