Hello,
Looking to install a blower on my T5. Where can i purchase besides my dealer? And are there any pros or cons to this idea i have?
Thanks

Well, you could buy it from another dealer I suppose. I would go with the factory unit. It works well and is pretty quiet.

There are a couple on ebay as well, i bought mine from dealer and really only use it if stove gets too warm, it will cool the stove about 150 deg on high.

I am thinking of purchasing the T-6. Are you happy with your stove?

chimneysweeponline.com is where I puchased the blower for my T6 a yr or two after the original stove purchase. Two phillips head screws, 5 mins max.. Worth every penny as far has increasing heat output. IMHO

After having the blower for part a season, I wouldn't be without one now. Makes a huge difference in heat distribution, and they're easy to install.

+1
I went part of a season without one and will say without a doubt it makes a huge difference!

The T6 is a wonderful stove. It's easy to use and a very capable heater.

As is the T5... i couldnt resist....

I have the T-5 with the factory blower and it works well, is quiet and gets the job done.. I also did find this blower for about $100.00 less http://bestfireplacefans.com/energy.html .. Worth looking into..
