Wow - now those are some neat designs. How about that 300 way wedge (or 30 or whatever). Holy cows.

What I really want to know is where to get some of that straight grained wood they have. I don't have any.

Yeah, all of the equipment seems to be very cleverly designed...I'd love to have any of them (except maybe the fence-post maker). The odd thing, though, is that they seem to be kind of flimsy. The metal looks thin and there seems to be a lot of play in the pieces that move. If it holds up to hard use, though, who cares?

Dan, from the little I do know about the woods across the pond, the stuff he was cutting is the average size. They don't have to build the stuff to handle a 350 pound round of white oak like we do.

The equipment looked to be designed for output (professional grade), so I am guessing that it would fair well against what they will throw at it.

Looks pretty cool but I doubt that 30 way splitter would hold up to most of my gnarly White Oak,not to mention the American Elm. The buzzsaw would be a nice addition to my arsenal, the 'post maker/pencil sharpener' though very clever dont do a thing for me.

I do like the buzz saw.

but its german.I dont buy german products.
I dont get it it, why do they even make that stuff when in EU you cant even cut down your own tree in your back yard without a permit.
Wood scrounging is unheard of and diesel fuel cost something like $8 a gallon.

You've spent time in Europe, I assume? And of course, you don't buy Stihl.

Yes , I grew up in Europe and still have family there. Some of the stuff they tell me in regards to laws, permits ,ordinances is just insane. I just stay here in US , thank You very much.

I think I really need to split with at least a 4-way splitter! What a time saver!

And that 30-way splitter makes me want a blooming onion! :)

Pretty fancy schmansy stuff. I'd like to see how well that equipment holds up when you drop an 80# fir round on it.
