i bought my stove a while ago and now, noticed the back part of the firebox is missing the stones(i guess).i meassure the ones from the inside floor of the stove and sort of match evenly at the back too,so i guess the firebox is missing them,i can't find them neither confirm if my heritage 8021 is supposed to have them.if so,is someone familiar with the purchase price?
i have a stone depot near my house and i wonder if i take measurements i can cut them with my tile saw too.

This does not make any sense. Post some picks inside the firebox.

There are no stones or firebricks inside the modern (for sure less than 5 years old)heritage. The only stones that are supposed to be inside the firebox that could possibly be removed are the floor stones that are cemented onto the cast iron floor frame. No firebrick in a heritage.

On that backwall you will see the vertical rectangular tube that feeds air up into the horizontal cast iron secondary manifold. Behind the vertical feed tube will be the stone rear wall. The stove is a single wall stone design.

"The stove is a single wall stone design. " ...or single wall stoVe design"?

No, he meant "stone".

bingo inferno rear wall has no stones, darn it.

So, yours looks the same as mine, right? Because, if you don't have that rear stone you have a big hole in your stove.

The "darn it" confuses me.

yes the 8021

So, you are all set. You have no issue with the stove, correct?

If you're looking for interior firebricks in the stove, stop. There aren't any required.

no issue with the stove,i was wondering if there was stones missing on the back wall or something but the back wall looks just like yours inferno.i'm fine then.i thought it was supposed to have stones on the back wall like the ones on the bottom inside of the stove.
ppheewwwww,what a ride i got.
