i regret not buying the pellets i like (in September) thinking they would have that brand in stock in weeks to come. but they have since changed brands. The good news is the new brand "Natures Energy" thus far seem to be decent.
Any wood pellet regrets yet this year?

The Instant Heat's seem not that warm for the very reason you indicated
they are really long. That means that you can't pack as many cubic inches of pellets in the auger so you feed less btu's. IMHO any short pellet will seem 'hotter' than a long pellet for that reason.
