Nice November day, 32 deg., with Sandhill cranes eyeing me from the sky.

Yah, sometimes when geese/ducks/cranes or whatever fly, they tend to fly in a "V" formation. When they do this you'll typically notice that one side of the "V" is longer than the other...do you know why???

<scroll down>

There's more birds in that side...HAHAH!!

p.s. Nice Progress!!!

Still working to get there before Thanksgiving.

First fire, 150 deg., burning the crate that it came in on. Made it in time for Thanksgiving. Odd thing is that the temps outside are unusually warm. :mad: 2weeks for install, Nov. 10-24.

Looks great, I love that marble!

That looks really nice. It will get colder outside and you will be warmer inside, even over the weekend as you have cold turkey sandwiches. Enjoy the warmth.

The color is matte black, but the sunlight is having fun.

Today the cement backer board is going down and I'll be chopping into the chimney.

Are you going to wrap the tile around next to the chimney on the floor or leave hardwood flooring there? Nice beginning. Love to see more pics.

Well, I got through the rest of the posts and found my answer. LOL. The tile looks great. I love that stove. Jotul makes some very classy stoves. Would sure like to see more pics, including the liner install, and demolition of wall to the left. Plus how did you finish out the wall removal?
