First of all, i hope everyone here had a nice thanksgiving, I am going to change both blowers on my Englander today, it is a 2006 and from what i have learned the blowers are only good for 5 to 6 years so i thought now would be a good time to change them instead of in the middle of winter, has anyone changed both blowers at the same time and did you notice that the stove was quieter?

No comment on the noise. But make sure to keep the old blowers/motors. Do a thorough cleaning (blow out dust bunnies from motor) with a compressor and then oil well and keep on the shelf (just in case).

I have a new combustion blower for my Quad on the shelf. For when the factory one goes South. Wont change it till its bad though.

Have you noticed any performance related issues? If you replace them and dont notice a difference. I would put the old ones back in, until they finally go to the Motor Haven in the sky. My 2 cents.

No performance issues yet, they just seem louder then last year. (no place to oil them) I have cleaned them each season, they are over 5 years old, so I'm going to install the new ones and keep the old ones for spares.

I was also wondering do they make a room blower with more cfm?? Also can you try different manufacturer of blowers??
Just a thought??

Yes i do know what to look for, these have no oiling ports cheap china made blowers the new replacements from englander are made in mexico, i read somewhere that the quality on these is better, only time will tell.
