Hi,I've been lurking here for a while, thought it was time to contribute what i can. just did my own install (insert and lining) I took out my Quaker "moravian" insert just can't do wood anymore. what a difference the pellet stove is!
Up and running for two weeks, no oil burner running yet, (its been pretty mild) I've been uneasy with the stove running on anything but low at night, and I think that has caused excess ashing. Been a good time to learn maintainence and cleaning needs and pellet usage.
so if this warm weather is my fault ,I can live with that.

Welcome to the forum from an ex woodburner and former N. Westchester Cty resident. Congrats on the stove install.

Now, you know what we say....we need pics of the install, or it never really happened!! :cheese:

Welcome tym4pellets, I like that name! That's one of the reasons I got the pellet stove, I was taking care of my brother at the time who was getting worse all the time, and between that and trying to work just couldn't do the wood anymore. He has since passed, and I couldn't have done what I did without the ease of a pellet stove.

Welcome to the Forum..... Harman makes a bulletproof stove.

Congratulations on the stove. And.. Yes. We love Pics..

Welcome and congrats on the insert, I am also in the first year (3 weeks) of an accentra insert. Love it so far, 70 in the house and the stove last ran at 8am this morning.

Pics coming
I sure don't mind this weather but I cannot wait to how this works when the temps drop. Harmon seems to be a good product, butthier install manual could be alot better,
