I had seen several members make some neat stuff to "upgrade" the view on their stove. I really liked the idea so I went digging trying to find something.

I found a guy online with a CNC machine and did a super job! He left it unfinished per my request so I could paint it with high temp but I think it looks great unfinished. The bare metal on the edges gives it a neat accent when the stove is off. It fits perfect. No need for anything to attached it. It's a snug fit right in!

I really like how its on the outside too. Covers up the places on the glass that get sooted up. :cheese:

I may get him to make something for the side glass too?

Here is a link to the guys website: http://www.madcnc.com/

He charged me $40 + $20 for shipping. Not bad but not cheap either...

Very happy though.

Wow....that looks great on your stove, and the pic of it while the stove is burning is even better. Reminds me of the log cabin and pine trees that was etched into the stove glass on my old Elmira Stoveworks wood stove.

NICE!!

Ok, that's awesome!!! I likey much.

Wow!! Looks really nice. How is it held in there though???

I measured really close (within 1/8") and there is a little tension from the trim around the glass that holds in it.

My original plan was to put a couple dots of black RTV to keep it in place but its not needed at this point.

That's a sweet, nice looking addition. Thumbs up!

Hello

Wow that came out super! Great idea!

Now all you need is some rope light around the hearth?

Well done! It looks amazing.

I'm hoping to build a CNC setup for my woodshop next year, but I'll also be able to mill sheet metal stock.

Maybe I'll get some customers here ;).

BTW, how's the stove running?

It's not.. LOL! It's like 65 degrees out! I'm still on the same bag from like 10 days ago.

I only fired it up to take a picture then had to open the windows!!!

Other than that, it's great! Heating my house very nicely when it's cold. Had a little issue with pellets not sliding down, but aluminum tape and furniture polished has helped a lot.

Just waiting on it to get COLD again.. Looks likes its knocking on my door. Just heard its snowing in Alabama.

I do like that a lot. I am one of the members with something in there stove also..(Thanks Czech) My Wife loves it. Its on the inside. So I have to clean it. But its NOT a Log Set. (LOGS ARE A PITA)..

Looks awesome. Congrats

I'm still using the log set that came with my 25ep because a lot of the pellets were coming down the auger chute and hitting the top of the burn pot and not landing into the burn pot. With the log set in place it was hitting the back of the log set and landing back into the burn pot. Your 25eps don't do this?

I do get a few more unburned pellets in the ash pan with the log removed but no bad.

I just want the nice firebrick background inside the stove. Mine has a single brick. Cheap.
