At first glance it seems like i was shorted 10 bags, but maybe not? Without unstacking these 4 pallets i have it seems i have 13 layers of 5 bags per layer...or 65 bags. I ordered 6 tons...and they came on 4 pallets each claiming to be 1.5 tons.

i just can't see why or how there could be 10 extra bags hidden...am i missing something?

65 bags = 1.3 tons to the best of my knowledge

Confusing question. Did you get 5 pallets of 65 bags each, or 4 pallets of 75 bags each?????

I know Marth used to do 1.2 T per pallet, but that stopped a while back from what I know. Too many people getting charged for 50 bags instead, it was a nice deal while it lasted!

sorry..typo...i got 4 pallets...

I "ordered" 6 tons...and they were coming on 4 pallets each 1.5 tons...which "should" be 75 bags per pallet.

so simple math proves to be 15 layers at 5 bags per layer correct??

But i have checked all for pallets and they all have 13 layers....which tells me i was shorted 40 bags....10 bags per pallet.

I sent them an email...and have not heard back...just wanted to see if anyone else has reachieved 1.5 ton pallets....and was there 13 layers or 15 on yours?

What brand pellets?

I agree w/ handyman above....I have only heard of 1.3 ton pallets, not 1.5.

Cubex ships like that. 75 bags per pallet, 15 layers of 5, 1.5 tons... though I suspect you are talking of a different brand.

these are Cleanfire Pacific 6 tons (4 skids) from woodpellet

Yowzers Tundra, you got hosed. You bought paid for 6 tons which is 300 bags and you got 260 bags which is 5.2 tons.

from a shipping standpoint.. that would suck to legalize axles on .
wouldnt those be restack from dealer for home delivery?

24 pallets is a standard flatbed load @ 1t each 42 ft deck space plus its hard to tarp with streched out or singled units mixed in for spacing

I am sure of one of two things....i will either go out in the light of day and pull off all the bags and find the missing 40 bags, or i will have an extra 40 bags delivered at no charge.

I am not worried about that...I am just confused as too how either i counted the rows wrong or they are stacked in some mysterious way. I can count to 15....most days anyway.

1-800-pellets, ask for Darlene or Joy.

I just sent Darlene an email referencing this thread, they will not know your name so you need to call them.

When I bought my CleanFire Pacifics they came on 1.3 tons per pallet. They're not going to have 1.5 for some locations and 1.3 for others ~ they come on box cars from Canada as 1.3 tons.

Call Joy and she will take care of you!
