First big cleaning, and new cap......

...so I figured I'd post a couple of pics.

It's been about 35 bags since I started burning this year, and besides some small firebox/ashpan cleanouts, I really haven't done anything to the stove.

I also had a new stainless cap installed today, as the original steel one that was from the woodstove days was in bad shape....screen was burned/rusted away, and had a bird visit the exhaust pipe/combustion blower part of the stove this past summer, and for some strange reason, couldn't find it's way back out. :-/

Anyway, here's a couple pics of the cap and the clean stove burning:

Thanks. I did some "dressing-up" of the stove with a can of gold spray paint. Mike at Englander even showed the guys in his tech dept.....they liked it too!.

Other than that.... Looks great. Love the look of those CPM's....
