Anybody else having issues with these pellets. I have to clean burnpot every 6-7 hrs. I bought several bags of turmans and hardwood heat. I do not have the same issues with those. I had these before the stove was installed. It might be time to put the wife on em

That's what I am burning this year, got 4 tons of them. I'm not having an issue with them as the harman burns them well, but they are making more ash than the green teams I burned last year. And burn dirtier as far as the glass on the door. Seem to put out slightly more heat though.

You'll not find many pellets out there that rival the Turmans. There are a few out there if you look around. The Lignetics have more ash. Lignetics also have more ash the the Hamers(hardwood heat). I didn't think they were all that terrible, Your standards might be kind of high because of the good stuff you have tried? There are a few pellet brands that will make the lignetics look wonderful. ;-)

Some of the cleaner burning brands are kind of scarce. and Pricey. Barefoots, Turmans and Hamers from Elkins plant. Some of the Softwoods as well. We all might need to lower our standards a bit here shortly! Just saying.

I have 1 ton of Green Label Ligs. I find them to do just fine. Not my favorite but I get good heat from them.

All this talk of Turmans may push me to make a trip to Southwest VA next summer. They are made right here in my home state. Beautiful area they are located in. Too bad I can't haul 4-5 tons on my motorcycle. %-P

Don't do it, You'll be ruined too! ;-)

Not the hottest or cleanest! But the most consistent pellet I have burned. They don't change much, Pretty much spot on every single season! I sh!+ you not!

Yep. This talk of Trumans has me wanting to go on a road trip too. Not next year either. Im talking here soon.... Hey Eatonpcat, you down.

Anyways. I have burned the Ligs before and grabbed 2 ton again (traded some off for Somersets) I dont think there terrible either. Like Graham said. There not the worst, but not my favorite either. Do just fine. Little dusty this batch, but not as bad as some others.

I have a ton of both Green label versions....the hard/Soft blend, and also the straight hardwood. Burned a few bags of the blend a while back, and they seemed fine.....didn't notice any excessive ash.

Lignetics - read my sig… I prefer the Instant Heats, or Green Supremes to these.

they are sold in my local ma/pa hardware store at a 30% markup over what I can buy the hardwood heats. This alone keeps me even from buying a test bag. Not that I'm cheap, I am THRIFTY! (my Scottish brogue is acting up this am)

call them up and talk to them. Super nice give them your zip code and they will tell you the closes place to get them. Might be closer than you think the guy they lead me to just sell from his farm about an hour away gonna go this weekend . 225/ton Stanton Va.

Those Lignetics were the worse pellet I ever burned. Last year they caused me to have to clean my stove triple the usual number of times. Loads of ash. They must have had an unusually high bark content.
