Two different departments in the county, two young guys with families......one to cancer, the other one to an accident. The fire service here has a heavy heart. Please pray that God rides with them on their last alarm.

Done. Sorry to hear about the losses. Our condolences to the heroes families.

Sorry to hear it. When I worked in local government I had my share of tense moments with first responders wearing both badges. But never had anything less than the highest respect for what they do when they gotta saddle up and go.

The ultimate call, and the ultimate answer.

Condolences from us all.

So sorry to hear about this... my thoughts go out to all those who are greiving because of these losses.

We just lost a local firefighter last week in a fatal fire. It's so hard to watch the video of the collasped building and know that he was in there looking for someone that was never in there. The wake and funeral were broadcasted. It was a very emotional funeral with his three kids and wife to be all holding up during the painful process. Very touching and my heart goes out to anyone who puts there lives in front of others to serve and protect the public.
