Likes: This is a update to me posting #749 after have the stove for two years:
After having one cheap metal prefabricated fireplace, two standard brick fireplaces and three metal woodstoves, Woodstock Soapstone wood stove are so superior in heating quality, output, long burn times, even comfortable heat compared to anything I have had in the pass 25 years of heating my three prior homes with wood. I can get 12 to 14 hours of true heat; burn time or useable heat out of the stove if I use oak wood and fill up the stove. The glass in the front of the stove I have found does not have to be clean for two months or more at a time. If you want a stove that you will be trouble free, high quality workmanship, will do everything the company say it will do and like dealing with an honest company, look no further. You donít have to spend over six months of heavy research into woodstoves like I did to find a quality unit, here it is. You might have to spend a little more, but you will never regret purchasing a WoodStock Stove.

Dislikes: Wish the door was the type with a spring on the the end. The handle does get hot. I wish I had the money to buy my Farther, Stepmother and other members of my family a new WoodStock stove and get reed of thier old inefficient metal stoves.

Comments: I wrote a report on my own expiries with wood burning heating units for the pass 25 years and recently spending over six months of research into woodstoves, purchasing a new unit and installation. I if anyone would like to read the my Wood Stove Report, please email me at chucktheapeman97305@yahoo.com.
