Beautiful stove, no problems. With good wood, stove heats house to below 0 F and a life saver when the furnace goes out.
Ash pan too small. Must empty daily. One day's worth of fire can produce up to three ash pans of ashes. Purchased fan blower - a waste of $150 because the fans are way too noisy (Chinese torture!!!) and we cannot use blower unit. Instead, we use a household fan to move air around the house.
To start fires, we must open sliding door between ash pan and fire box (not in the instructions). Close ash pan sliding door after fire has started.
