For a medium sized stove, did a fairly good job of heating the house. I liked the bypass diverter feature. Quarter inch thick steel.
The door never shut tight, in spite of the dealer being out to the house to fix the problem, so it was never air tight. The angle iron that held the fire bricks in the top, continually disintegrated. Had a hard time locating new ones, which was the main reason we finally took it out of service. The dealer is no longer around. The secondary air tubes disintegrated after one season of use. The air intake lever was next to impossible to pull out. The stove pipe never sat perfectly verticle in the stove, because they only had a tab on one side the pipe rested on.
If the manufacturer fixed the problems we had, I might consider buying another one, because the outside of the stove seemed to be fairly well made, but they're not real likely to convince me that they have, so I doubt I'll ever buy another one.
