Likes:
top loading as well as front loading, nice looking stove
Dislikes:
poor heat (we nearly froze the whole time this stove was installed in our home), poor life of unit, - service life of less than 5 years and the unit was burned out and unsafe to use.
Comments:
Have used wood heat all our lives. I would never own a Vermont stove again. We temporarily re-installed a stove that was built in the 1970s that provided better heat. We replaced the Vermont stove with a Drolet Sawman model for $700.00 in 1996 and it is still going strong and heating our house adequately.
