Non-Cat stove with a very large firebox (3.1 Cu. Ft.)yet a light stove @ 350Lbs. Front to back loading of 20" logs. Can burn overnight with no problem and the front glass stays very clean. Nice
looking stove. Blower comes with the unit. I purchased this stove 01/05/2004 after researching dozens of large stoves. The heat output is awsome.
When opening the door, a little smoke comes into the room. I will be installing a fresh air intake kit from the factory to see if it solves this problem.
The ash pan has a 1" gap under the stove which allows dust into room when scraping ashes into it. I just shovel the ashes into a ash bin the old fashioned way.
Very good stove when you consider this stove cost half the price of the other stoves with simular size fire boxes.I liked the stove so much I purchased another model (Aspen)It has a different look but, the same specifications and fire box (3.1 Cu. Ft.). I wish manufactures would put shaker grates into the stoves like Coal stoves, this makes ash removal very easy. This is possible @ a little extra cost.
I would recommend this stove to anyone.
