Likes: The stove runs great and is extremely easy to load. I do recommend using shoter than the 18 inch maximum logs that the stove can take. I tend to us 16 inch logs. The stove puts out tons of heat even without a Blower. I can get around 9-10 hours with a full load of seasoned Red Fir and it damped all the way down. Sucks a great draft with the new stainless liner I installed. Air controls are great and offer good control over output.

Dislikes: Pipe opening too far forward for most factory built chimneys (doesn't extend far enough back into fireplace for easy hookup, I had to do a lot of trimming and grunt work to get it to fit)- highly recommend going up to the 4100I if you want to do it yourself, or at least verify it will be an easy fit. Glass seems to get dirty fairly fast.

Comments: I plan on purchasing a blower before next winter to improve circulation around the stove. This is an accessory I'd recommend if you plan on using the insert for primary heat. I have pictures of the install if you are interested in doing it yourself. e-mail me at smonter@moscow.com
