Caluwe Hydronic Wood and Pellet stoves
Likes: Unit seems to functions so far without failure.
Very sharp looking unit.
Ash drawers seems sufficient but will last only about 2 days because while drawer is large, ash piles up in the center of unit.

Dislikes: Must use GoldenFire pellets (west coast douglas fir) as unti burns very dirty. Glass gets cloudy on high setting 12-24 hours, if you try to run on LOW or Medium, ash builds up on glass way more than when on high.
I have damper set to 7 notches out of 9 and the feed rate calibrated way down and the exhaust blower set almost to the top just to get these results. any other setting makes unit and screen full of ash.
Unit has (1) blower so temp coming out of left side(faster moving air) is much cooler than air from the right side tubes.

Comments: poor design I suspect as I have checked everything.
Dealer said he told me unit burned dirtier than others and I said if you really told me that in those terms, i would not have bought it. $2500 is a lot of dough to have to clean glass every 24 hours of running!
If I had to do over again, I would check out QuadraFire. A guy at work has one in his beach house and cleans the window about every couple months and he uses Lignetics pellets(185/tom), which I tried, and my ash rate tripled vs GoldenFire, which are $250/ton
