Nice looking stove. Easy to burn, just toss a log on every hour or so. No smoke out the chimmey. Very nice watching the flames dance around inside.
Dislikes:
Rated at 55,000 BTU but did not produce much heat. Could not keep the house warm on a sunny mid 30's degree day. My old "smoker" could have easily kept up.
Comments:
I returned it to Lowes and got my money back. Maybe a high quality EPA stove would have produced more heat but it cost $1500 to find this out. The cheap Lowes stove might be designed to pass EPA testing with out much thought about it's ability to heat. I realy don't understand how it could produce so little heat. I think I'll stick with my old stove for now. If burned properly with good wood it doesn't smoke.
