Superb stove! Puts out lots of heat, superbly built, is a joy to use, has a great fire view, burns clean, and looks beautiful doing it. It's the least finicky stove I've ever used. The ashpan is large and, burning softwoods 12 hours a day average, I empty it every 3 days.
Dislikes:
I have encountered none... a first in my 25+ years of wood heating experience... I guess maybe the only "con" is that they are pretty expensive - at normal list price it would have been out of my budget.
Comments:
This is my first Morso, and I am very impressed. It is a very well-thought-out stove. There is no evidence of cutting corners anywhere - Morso builds a great stove.
I got a great deal on it because someone had bought it, used it for a couple weeks, was unhappy with it, and returned it. They obviously had more money than sense... I took a look, and the stove was all gunked up inside. I think they were trying to burn unseasoned wood in it. A couple hours of cleaning it up and it was like new.
It pays to ask your dealer what he has in the back (returns, burn models, etc.)....!
